The Narnia Experience Community Interactive Show Comes to Leeds
Do you remember reading The Chronicles of Narnia as a child and wishing you could experience some of the magic? Well, now you can with The Narnia Experience.
Leftbank Leeds is bringing these stories to life in a spectacular production through The Narnia Experience which is scheduled to run from Monday 25th November to Sunday 8th December 2013.
The Narnia Experience will allow audience members to immerse themselves in the story and join in with an impressive interactive performance. Upon arrival, the audience will be split into two groups of 15, with each group taking a different route through Narnia. The first group; ‘Lucy’, will encounter Mr Tumnus, Mrs Beaver, Father Christmas, the White Witch and Aslan, whereas the second group ‘Edmund’, will have a much more frightening time, as they will visit the White Witch’s palace, get chased by wolves and to top it all off they may even end up getting turned to stone!
The show has been specifically designed for school children who will have the opportunity to view the performance during the day, but it will also be open to families and adults on evenings and weekends.
Leftbank Leeds is hoping to get 200 people involved in this performance. Workshop auditions are being held 2-5pm on Sunday 5th May, Saturday 11th May, Sunday 12th May, Saturday 15th June and Sunday 16th June. People of all ages and abilities are encouraged to audition. Experience is not necessary, but enthusiasm certainly is.
