Zombie chase game returns to Leeds for a second year this July

After last year’s successful 2.8 Hours Later event in the city centre of Leeds, Slingshot, the street and pervasive games company have announced that zombies will once again be crawling the streets this year.

The game is returning to Leeds on the weekend spanning the 25th to the 28th July.  Starting from a secret city centre location, 2.8 Hours Later is a thrill-packed roller coaster ride of zombie movie action.

Players find themselves in a city that has been devastated by a zombie invasion. Their aim is to find small pockets of survivors (played by actors) hiding out in some amazingly secretive locations whilst running from hoards of bloodthirsty zombies roaming the streets between their goal. Each location found advances the player closer to resistance HQ; the last safe place in the city. The game starts at sundown and is set to be 2.8 hours of pure adrenaline.

The organisers would like to note that the experience is physically and psychologically challenging but also extremely exhilarating as well as exhausting.

Tickets are now on sale via the website www.2.8hourslater.com. To read about the success of last year’s event and read the rave reviews see the related articles below!
